SKOUT - Meet, Chat, Friend Review
SCOUT is another dating app for any sexuality and for any age out there. It has built-in social media and live stream features. You can download SKOUT - Meet, Chat, Friend for iOS and Android.
There's a pretty variable search feature here. You can set any sexual preference here including showing everyone who's into men or women despite the fact that they might not be into you. It's strange. You can set different age range here too starting from 18 up to 120. We wonder if there’s one 120-year-old person who's using the app, but we appreciate the effort.
Not a bad design in the way how it looks and in understanding how to use the app. The Meet icon is on the bottom of the screen along with Chat, Interested. There most interesting tabs of the SCOUT'S menu is Buzz and Live. The first one is like a news feed of what's up with the people around you and the second one allows you to go live and share the things that you're doing at the moment.
When you open the app for the first time and register your profile, as in many dating apps, you don't see people around you, you see mostly Thai people which is because, we're guessing, the app comes from there, although it states on iTunes that it's from CA, US. And when you see what their profile says, like, 'I don't send photos here’ or 'No perverts and scammers please’ you instantly realize that this is one of those shady dating apps where low-profiled people use. Another strange this is that, while we stated that we're interested in men in the beginning.
Except for the wide age range and any kind of sex you can put into search the ethnicity you prefer which is way too weird and slightly inappropriate, so we think that not a lot of US citizens will appreciate this app.

This SKOUT - Meet, Chat, Friend Review is focused on the app's version for iOS. In general, it works better than on Android because iPhones have a better GPS system which allows you to see more people nearby. Still, not a lot though because not a lot of Americans use it.
You need special in-app points to activate different additional features like putting your profile at the top and sending gifts. The prices vary from $4.99 for 500 points up to $99.99 for 18,000 points. Note that for Feature Me option you have to have 20,000 points so we're not sure if it's worth it. You can also earn free points by downloading featured apps from the appropriate menu.
The Bottom Line
Don't download SKOUT - Meet, Chat, Friend app. Because there are too many things that aren't right with it. We can add one more to the bunch, not only it shows you people from random countries, it shows you profiles that aren't in English, so how are you supposed to talk to them?
SCOUT isn't a great dating app. It has potential with the vast search engine but not a lot of US citizens use it anyway, so check it out if you’re interested in mostly Asian people, you’ll find plenty of them there.
Pros : It's good for any sexuality and age;
Easy to use;
Has news feed and live stream is available.
Cons : A shady app in general;
A little bit racist;
Not a lot of US citizens use it so you won't see a lot of people nearby;
Paid features are too expensive.
